The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra retains the same weight (215 grams), IP48 rating, and folded thickness (8.9 mm) as the Galaxy Z Fold7.

When unfolded, the Z Fold8 Ultra is 4.1 mm thick, 0.1 mm slimmer than the Z Fold7's 4.2 mm.

The Z Fold8 Ultra has an identical 8.0-inch QXGA+ internal display and 6.5-inch cover display, but the internal resolution is higher (2,504 x 2,256) versus the Z Fold7 (2,184 x 1,968), resulting in 422 ppi vs. 368 ppi.

Both foldables use 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays.
