Brazil are reportedly planning a friendly match in Kolkata during the October FIFA international window.

Talks between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Indian organisers began during the 2026 World Cup in the United States.

Brazil are already scheduled to play Australia on September 25 in Townsville and September 29 in Brisbane.

The proposed friendly falls under FIFA's new 'Super FIFA Window' allowing up to four matches.

Kolkata is the preferred venue due to strong fan support for Brazil during the World Cup, but logistical challenges remain after a prior Messi visit.
