Kirti Kulhari targeted by cyber criminals, ₹2.44 lakh stolen through unauthorised card transactions

Bollywood actor Kirti Kulhari was targeted by cyber criminals who stole ₹2.44 lakh through unauthorized credit card transactions.

The fraud occurred on July 24, 2026, when Kulhari received an alert about a US$2,525 transaction to Aeromexico Airlines while at a multiplex in Andheri West.

Four separate unauthorized transactions were processed using her credit card, totaling over ₹2.43 lakh.

Kulhari's bank blocked the card after she reported the fraud; she had not shared her PIN or banking details with anyone.

Mumbai Police's Amboli station has lodged a case against unknown persons, investigating possible digital theft of card details.
