Sanjay Dutt recalls dad Sunil’s tough call during mother Nargis final days

Sanjay Dutt recalled his mother Nargis's battle with pancreatic cancer in the early 1980s.

The family traveled to New York for surgery at Sloan Kettering.

Sanjay was about 19 or 20 at the time, and his sisters were younger.

His father Sunil Dutt insisted Sanjay return to complete work on his debut film Rocky while Nargis was in a coma.

Nargis continued fighting until she came home, where she passed away.
