Sunil Gavaskar calls for ‘honest introspection’ after India's debacle in England: ‘Put more thought into execution’

Sunil Gavaskar urged the Indian management to conduct honest introspection after losing T20I series to Ireland (2-0) and England (4-0) and the ODI series to England (1-2).

Gavaskar suggested the BCCI increase boundary sizes in the IPL to help batters adapt to overseas conditions.

He called for batters to curb their egos, play smart cricket, and target specific bowlers rather than chasing glory shots.

Gavaskar advised head coach Gautam Gambhir to drop average fielders, as captains cannot hide weak fielders.

He emphasized the need for accountability and better execution of each player's specialty to return to winning ways.
