ICICI Pru Life Insurance Q1 Profit Surges 28% YoY To Rs 386 Cr

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance reported a 27.8% YoY rise in standalone profit to Rs 386 crore for Q1FY27.

Value of new business (VNB) grew 24.9% YoY to Rs 571 crore, with VNB margin increasing 220 bps to 26.7%.

Total premium rose 14.5% YoY to Rs 10,251 crore, and new business premium increased 21.3% YoY to Rs 4,866 crore.

Assets under management (AUM) rose 2.9% YoY to Rs 3.34 lakh crore.

Retail protection annualised premium equivalent (APE) grew 60.4% YoY, marking the third consecutive quarter of over 40% growth.
