‘False news’: 3 Idiots makers deny that the Aamir Khan-Rajkumar Hirani film is going to re-release in theatres

Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films, the production house behind 3 Idiots, denied reports of a re-release on September 4, calling them false and factually incorrect.

Social media speculation about the Aamir Khan-Rajkumar Hirani film re-releasing for Teacher's Day triggered the clarification.

The denial comes amid ongoing student protests and actor Aamir Khan's recent statement that the film was not based on educationist Sonam Wangchuk.
