Bus driver, conductor assaulted over Rs 10 ticket refund row in Bengaluru; passenger flees

A BMTC passenger assaulted conductor DR Narendra Babu and driver Narasimha Reddy over a Rs 10 ticket refund in Bengaluru.

The incident occurred on July 21 on bus route 298/MY/2 from Devanahalli to Yeshwantpur TTMC near Hiranandani Apartments on Bengaluru-Ballari Main Road.

The conductor suffered a fractured nasal bone after being punched; the driver sustained a bleeding forehead.

The passenger claimed his name was Salman Khan and said he worked as a driver at MSIL godown in Devanahalli.

The passenger escaped during the transfer of passengers to another bus at Devanahalli bus stand.
