ESPYs 2026 award winners announced

The 2026 ESPY Awards were held at Lincoln Center in New York City, hosted by Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernández.

Nominees for Best Athlete in men's sports included Jalen Brunson, Lionel Messi, Shohei Ohtani, and Matthew Stafford.

A’ja Wilson, Nelly Korda, Mikaela Shiffrin, and Hilary Knight were nominated for Best Athlete in women's sports.

The Best Team category featured nominees such as the Las Vegas Aces, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Knicks, and Team USA Women’s Hockey.

Braylon Mullins’ buzzer-beating 3 for UConn against Duke was nominated for Best Play.
