DU teachers demand more seats for 1-yr PG programme

Academic for Action and Development Teachers Association (AADTA) asked Delhi University to allocate seats to colleges for its newly launched one-year postgraduate programme.
The teachers association flagged concerns about shortage of seats in departments for the one-year PG programme.
Currently, only departments with infrastructure constraints have been allocated a limited number of seats, often below 50 per course.
AADTA requested seat allocation similar to the two-year PG programme to increase intake capacity and benefit students.
