Anti-cheating measures: UP Board to print candidates’ signatures on admit cards for first time

UP Board will print candidates' signatures on Class 10 and 12 admit cards for the 2027 examinations to prevent impersonation.

The Board is collecting signatures along with photographs during the ongoing online registration process for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations.

Invigilators will match signatures on admit cards with those on answer books and attendance sheets.

The move targets proxy candidates or 'solvers' who impersonate registered students.

Registration for Class 10 and 12 students continues until August 5, 2026, with fee deposit by August 10 and upload of details by August 16.
