AI boom propels Hong Kong exports to strongest growth since 1984

Hong Kong's exports surged 53.4% in April from a year earlier, the largest increase since 1984.

The value of exports reached a record high of HK$641.1 billion ($81.8 billion).

The AI boom is driving the strong export growth, according to data from the Census and Statistics Department.
