Delhi HC transfers special judge assigned to paper leak cases a week after taking charge
Delhi High Court transferred Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga from the designated fast-track paper leak court after she assumed charge on July 25.
Baliga was replaced by Special Judge Ajay Gupta, who had earlier handled paper leak cases including the NEET matter.
Baliga was reassigned to a special court under the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act to hear terrorism-related cases.
The fast-track court was established following PM Narendra Modi's announcement, and it handles cases under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
The court first heard the NEET paper leak case on July 27, but proceedings were adjourned; the next hearing was scheduled for Monday.
