'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' records Rs 300 crore weekend in India
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Sadie Sink, has become the first Hollywood film to cross Rs 300 crore gross in India during its opening weekend.
The film collected an estimated Rs 76 crore net on Day 4 (Sunday) across 18,051 shows, with a gross of Rs 90.89 crore and 78.7% nationwide occupancy.
In four days, the film has amassed an estimated Rs 207.95 crore net and Rs 313.24 crore gross in India.
The English version contributed Rs 40 crore net on Sunday, with Hindi following at Rs 29 crore, and Telugu/Tamil versions adding Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 3.55 crore respectively.
Sunday's collections marked an 8.2% jump over Saturday's Rs 70.25 crore net, setting a new benchmark for Hollywood in India, surpassing 'Avengers: Endgame'.
