CCTV reveals 'unlikely jewel thief'; rat caught carrying off gold rings from Karnataka jewellery store

A jewellery shop in Tumakuru, Karnataka, discovered 10 gold rings and two chains missing during a routine stock check.

CCTV footage revealed a rat carrying away a gold ring at around 4:30 am, after staff initially suspected human theft.

Shop owner Vishwas said the rat had made a hole and a path, along which all missing jewellery was recovered.

The incident went viral on social media after the shop owner shared the CCTV footage.
