Labour Commissioner's Office rescued two child labourers from eateries in Pune's Kasba Peth and Shaniwar Peth.

Children were made to work as waiters and perform tasks throughout the day and night.

Cases registered under the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act against the owners.

Rescued children, both natives of Uttar Pradesh, produced before Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for rehabilitation.

Labour Department urges citizens to report child labour cases; fines and imprisonment apply to offenders.
