Gujarat: 22 dead in Chandipura virus outbreak, 35 cases confirmed

Gujarat Health Minister Praful Pansheriya confirmed a Chandipura virus outbreak, with 35 positive cases out of 184 tests.

deaths have been reported in the outbreak.

Seven patients are currently in ICU in critical condition.

The state has ramped up surveillance and is treating patients symptomatically because there is no specific cure.
