Expansion on track; AI Express expects to induct 50-60 aircraft over 12-18 months

Air India Express expects to induct 50-60 aircraft over the next 12-18 months.

The airline currently operates over 100 aircraft, up from about 25 three years ago.

Chairman Nipun Aggarwal said deliveries are expected to gather pace.

Air India Express will be among early operators of the Boeing 737 MAX 10 once certified.

Fleet expansion follows Tata Group’s acquisition of Air India in 2022 and ongoing integration.
