Canada: Killer of Air India bombing suspect gets 15-year jail term in separate murder case

Tanner Fox, already serving life for murder of Air India bombing suspect Ripudaman Singh Malik, got 15 more years for manslaughter of Chad Colivas.

Fox pleaded guilty to manslaughter with a firearm in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Chad Colivas in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Fox killed Malik in Surrey, British Columbia, on July 14, 2022, while Malik sat in his Tesla.

Malik was acquitted of the 1985 Air India Flight 182 bombing that killed 329 people.

Fox was sentenced to life without parole for 20 years for Malik's murder in 2025.
