Residents kept reporting Dolphins. Underwater microphones revealed their visits

Scientists from Kyoto University used underwater microphones to monitor dolphins in two bays along Japan's Sea of Japan coast.

Dolphin sounds were detected only about once every 10 days, indicating occasional visits.

The study suggests long-term underwater listening can aid in understanding and conserving marine life.
