Jason Sanjay calls father Vijay’s Tamil Nadu election win a ‘historical revolution’, reveals his life advice

Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, called his father's election win a 'historic revolution' in his first interview about the victory.

The win saw Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) defeat DMK and AIADMK, which had dominated Tamil Nadu politics for decades.

Jason said his father advised him to build his own identity and gain ground-level experience, not to be spoon-fed.

Vijay's wife Sangeeta and children Jason and Divya Saasha did not attend his swearing-in ceremony; only his parents and cousins were present.

Jason's debut film as director, Sigma, produced by Lyca Productions and starring Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, was postponed from its July 31 release.
