Haryana to link Mhari Sadak app with road contracts for faster complaint fixes

The Haryana government will link the Mhari Sadak app with the Haryana Engineering Works (HEW) portal to integrate road complaint data with construction and maintenance contracts.

The upgrade will use GIS coordinates and a common road/tender ID to automatically route complaints to the responsible contractor, replacing the current manual assignment to officers.

AI-backed features will detect duplicate complaints, recognize potholes from images, and verify work progress using satellite imagery.

Nearly 50 road-owning agencies will coordinate to integrate road works data, including live tender details, project cost, and defects liability period.

The upgraded app is expected to launch later this year or early next year, following the original app's launch in October 2025.
