Indian-origin Uber driver charged with two counts of sexual assault in Canada

Indian-origin Uber driver Mandeep Singh, 25, of Etobicoke, charged with two counts of sexual assault in Burlington, Canada.

Alleged offences occurred on 16 June at Burlington GO Station parking lot and a nearby business, both involving the same adult woman.

The victim was not physically injured; police believe there may be additional victims and are seeking information.

Singh was arrested on 26 July and held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Investigation led by Halton Regional Police Service's Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit.
