Sunil Singhania-Backed Abakkus Venture Opportunities Fund Acquires 6,08,400 Equity Shares in This Small-Cap Stock via Bulk Deal; Share Price Jumps 6%

Abakkus Venture Opportunities Fund acquired 6,08,400 equity shares of Baikakaji Foods at Rs 200.34 per share via a bulk deal on the BSE.

Following the bulk deal, Baikakaji Foods share price jumped 6.21% to Rs 254.90 on Friday.

Sellers in the deal included Tiger Strategies Fund-I (1,08,000 shares) and Sanjay Popatlal Jain (3,42,000 shares) at Rs 200 per share.

Baikakaji Foods reduced borrowings by 71% to Rs 32 crore in FY26 from Rs 109 crore in FY25, and reserves rose to Rs 154 crore.

The fund is associated with Abakkus Asset Manager, founded by investor Sunil Singhania, and invests through strategic market transactions.
