Miharashi Hill's blue flowers draw tourists to Japan

Miharashi Hill in Hitachi Seaside Park, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, is covered in approximately 5.3 million nemophila blossoms each spring.

The nemophila flowers, also called 'baby blue eyes', bloom from mid-April onwards, turning the hill electric blue.

Hitachi Seaside Park is located about two to three hours from Tokyo by train or direct bus.
