Mumbai founder sends employee on paid trip, gets job requests

Dhruv Mukherjee, founder of a Mumbai startup, funded a three-day paid getaway for a poor performing employee struggling with personal issues.

The decision was made instead of docking the employee's pay for poor performance.

Mukherjee stated: 'At the end of the day, there is a person on the other side of the table and you need to treat them accordingly.'

The startup subsequently received a flood of job requests following the incident.
