Ayush ministry seeks OPDs in all military, field hospitals

The Ayush ministry has proposed expanding Ayush services across all military and field hospitals.

Union Minister of State for Ayush Prataprao Jadhav urged Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to establish dedicated Ayush OPDs for armed forces personnel.

The initiative aims to strengthen preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative care, integrating traditional medicine with existing healthcare.

Currently, only a limited number of defence institutions have Ayush facilities; the proposal seeks to cover all military and field hospitals.

The Ayush ministry pledged technical support and an MoU for implementation, advancing the government's push for holistic care in the armed forces.
