GMDA, HSVP told to complete Gurugram drainage links

Haryana principal advisor DS Dhesi directed GMDA and HSVP to jointly inspect and complete all missing links in the drainage network on priority.

GMDA is expediting master stormwater drainage network work in sectors 68–75 and 76–80.

HSVP administrator Vaishali Singh said master drainage for sectors 81–95 is in two phases; phase one (sectors 81–87) completed and handed to GMDA, phase two (sectors 88–95) in final stage.

All four master carrier drains—Leg-1, Leg-2, Leg-3, Leg-4—handled over 100 mm rainfall on July 17 without exceeding capacity.

The Dhanwapur STP's damaged treated water channel was repaired, resuming treated water supply for irrigation in Jhajjar district.
