Fadnavis claims Thackeray cousins' march is political stunt
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS president Raj Thackeray are desperate to regain lost political ground through a Sunday march in Mumbai.
Fadnavis accused the Thackeray cousins of organizing the march under the guise of a student protest.
Fadnavis noted that six Shiv Sena (UBT) Lok Sabha members recently joined the rival Sena faction led by Deputy CM Eknath Shinde.
UBT spokesperson Sushma Andhare denied the claim, saying UBT and MNS are showing solidarity with students and that BJP leaders are unnerved by nationwide protests.
