Mumbai: Patients Face 15–20-Day Wait For Sonography At BMCs MT Agrawal Hospital In Mulund Amid Staff,

BMC's MT Agrawal Super Speciality Hospital in Mulund has only one sonography machine and one radiologist, causing 15–20 day waits for sonography appointments.

The backlog worsened after sonography services at Veer Savarkar Municipal Hospital and Seven Rasta Municipal Hospital became non-functional, referring patients to MT Agrawal.

Opposition Leader Kishori Pednekar and corporator Rajol Sanjay Patil visited the hospital and promised to push the civic administration for more infrastructure and staff.

Patients, including pregnant women, face delays despite priority given to emergencies and pregnant cases.
