Former corporator Sitaram Gupta booked in yet another land grab case

Former corporator Sitaram Gupta was arrested for selling 6,000 square metres of land owned by the Christian community in Naigaon using forged documents.

Gupta and Micheal Moses impersonated the original owner Leslie John Hector Lobo using a forged Aadhar card to create fake sale documents.

The land was owned by Citizen Co-operative Housing Society, built by former Citizen Bank directors for the Christian community.
