Comedian Jenny Yang uses a comedy tour to uplift immigrants, one grocery store at a time

Comedian Jenny Yang is hosting the Good Egg Immigrant Grocery Store Standup Comedy Tour at cultural grocery stores across the U.S.

The tour is a response to immigration crackdowns by President Donald Trump's administration.

It runs from June 5 to September 26, with stops in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix, New York, and San Francisco.

Proceeds go to local nonprofits recommended by organizations in immigrant enclaves.

Yang will film a performance in Los Angeles for a proposed comedy special.
