Labourer dies, wife critical as speeding vehicle hits bike in Ludhiana

A speeding Innova hit the motorcycle of Harvinder Singh and his wife Kulwinder Kaur in Ludhiana, killing Harvinder and injuring Kulwinder.

Harvinder Singh was thrown into Sidhwan Canal and his body was recovered hours later.

Kulwinder Kaur is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The Sarabha Nagar police registered an FIR against the unidentified Innova driver under sections 281, 106, 125(A), and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The couple worked as labourers and have two sons.
