in5points
Colonel Harland Sanders' former home Blackwood Hall, the Claudia Sanders Dinner House, and an engraved pressure cooker are being auctioned in Kentucky on July 28.
The items have been preserved for over 50 years by the Settle family, who bought them directly from Colonel and Claudia Sanders.
The auction is organized by The Menish Group Auction & Real Estate and includes personal belongings, business records, photographs, and memorabilia.
This is the first time the collection has been made available to the public.
Blackwood Hall, the Sanders' home in Shelbyville, Kentucky, was used by Colonel Sanders to train KFC franchise owners.
