DRDO inks two major contracts with industry partners as part of AEW&C MK-II programme
DRDO's CABS signed a contract with AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) to convert six A321 aircraft for the AEW&C MK-II programme.
A separate contract with Adani Defence Systems and Technologies (ADSTL) appoints it as development cum production partner for mission systems.
CABS and ADSTL will integrate mission systems on modified AEW&C MK II platforms delivered by Airbus Defence & Space.
The programme aims to provide enhanced endurance, advanced airborne surveillance, secure communication, and improved command and control.
