Katie Holmes backs daughter Suri’s decision to legally remove Cruise from her name

Suri Noelle Cruise, 20, legally removed the surname Cruise and adopted Noelle, her mother's middle name, as her last name.

Katie Holmes supports Suri's decision, per a Page Six report; a source said it was entirely Suri's choice and evolved over time.

Suri is the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who married in November 2006 and divorced in 2012.

Katie Holmes is set to return with Happy Hour 2, while Tom Cruise will appear in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's upcoming film.
