Watch: Gymnast Gabriel Langton suffers frightening head-first fall at CWG 2026

England gymnast Gabriel Langton suffered a head-first fall from the high bar during the men's team final at Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

Langton missed his catch, fell approximately three metres, and landed on his head and neck, prompting an immediate medical response and halting competition.

Team England confirmed Langton was conscious, moving his arms and legs, and speaking with doctors before being taken to hospital.

Canada won their first men's team gymnastics gold in 20 years with 241.400 points; England took silver (238.200), Australia bronze.

Langton was drafted into England's squad to replace injured six-time Olympic medallist Max Whitlock.
