U.A.E. Rewarded With Coveted AI Chips for Supporting U.S. War in Iran

in5points
U.A.E. gained expanded access to U.S. AI chips after aiding America with airstrikes against Iran, intercepting missiles, and keeping oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Under a Trump administration rule change, the U.A.E. will be treated like European countries, South Korea, and India when buying technology with military applications.
The change allows G42 to buy chips freely from Nvidia for at least nine months and removes licensing limits for Microsoft and OpenAI data centers in the country.
G42, controlled by U.A.E. national-security adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al Nahyan, plans to become a U.S. company mostly owned by U.S. investors.
