Mumbai: FDA Inspects 3 Bombay High Court Canteens; 2 Issued Stop-Business Notices Over Lack Of FSSAI Licence

Maharashtra FDA inspected three canteens at Bombay High Court on July 30, 2026, following court directions.

Two canteens received stop-business notices for lacking FSSAI licences: one failed to produce it, another admitted not having it.

The Bombay Bar Association stated it had voluntarily shut its canteen before the inspection.

The third canteen, which had a licence, was issued an improvement notice for deficiencies.

The FDA inspection report is to be submitted to the court on July 31.
