IIT Kanpur Convocation 2026: 3104 degrees offered to UG, PG students, Sagar K. V. receives gold medal

IIT Kanpur conferred 3,104 degrees at its 59th Convocation Ceremony.

The graduating cohort included 1,325 postgraduate, 1,247 undergraduate, and 532 eMasters students.

Sagar K. V. received a gold medal at the convocation.

Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairperson of IN-SPACe, delivered the convocation address.

Degrees were awarded to 390 PhD scholars, 852 BTech graduates, and 502 MTech graduates, among others.
