Yan Diomande set for Real Madrid switch as €120m deal nears completion following dramatic transfer battle

Real Madrid are finalizing a €120 million deal for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, with a medical scheduled and a contract until June 2031.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move, ending a transfer battle that included Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and other clubs.

PSG withdrew from the race, citing that the fee and salary demands did not fit their financial strategy.

Madrid's initial €100 million offer was rejected by Leipzig; the improved package includes €100 million guaranteed plus €20 million in add-ons.

Diomande chose Real Madrid as his preferred destination, clearing the way for the transfer after personal terms were agreed.
