She stated that her film appearances are professional roles, not a model for behavior in public places or schools.

Ranaut previously criticized Gen Z student protests, calling the language used 'puke-inducing' and 'crass'.

She is a four-time National Film Award winner and a BJP Member of Parliament from Mandi.
