TN CM urges PM Modi to protect state interests over Mekedatu project

Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay wrote to PM Modi urging protection of lower riparian states' interests over the Mekedatu project.

The CM cited the CWDT Award and Supreme Court's Cauvery judgment as binding on the project.

Vijay called a central minister's reply on Mekedatu 'disappointing' for not respecting these legal frameworks.
