Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini said degrees reflect knowledge but character defines life at the Utkarsh 2026 programme in Yamunanagar.

CM honoured 160 meritorious students and sportspersons, citing Haryana's sports achievements as an inspiration for the country.

The Haryana government decided to develop Government Colleges into Model Sanskriti Colleges, with 22 already established.

National institutions including NIELIT in Panchkula and Kurukshetra, IIM Rohtak, NID Umri, and an IIT Delhi extension centre at Sonipat have been set up under national projects.
