UPSC CMS 2026 answer key awaited at upsc.gov.in after August 2 exam; check marking scheme and next recruitment stages

The UPSC conducted the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026 on August 2, 2026, in two computer-based sessions.

The official CMS 2026 answer key is expected to be released in January 2027, after the final merit list is declared.

The written exam consisted of two papers, each with 120 multiple-choice questions, totaling 500 marks.

Paper I covers General Medicine and Paediatrics; Paper II covers Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and Preventive and Social Medicine.
