Competing claims over geotechnical report emerge in SNN Raj Etternia case in Bengaluru

A geotechnical report for SNN Raj Etternia in Bengaluru is disputed between developer SNN Raj Corp and consultant Nagadi Consultants over the cause of an 18-storey tower tilting.

Nagadi's September 2022 report notes part of the site was a former quarry filled with soil and debris, and recommended pile foundations for areas with deep filled-up strata like borehole BH4.

Nagadi engineer Sangamesh says structural distress could have been avoided if its pile foundation recommendation had been implemented.

SNN director Anuj Sanjay Jain claims the geotechnical report itself contained an error: borehole data for towers E1 and E3 were interchanged, leading to incorrect foundation recommendations.
