No Work To Be Issued For Proposed Cluster Redevelopment Project At Bandra Reclamation Till Aug 13: SC To MHADA

in5points
The Supreme Court of India ordered no work order for the MHADA cluster redevelopment project at Bandra Reclamation until August 13.
The order was passed by a Bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta while hearing petitions from residents of Adarsh Nagar, Worli, and Bandra Reclamation.
Residents challenged Government Resolutions dated April 25, 2025, and December 15, 2025, claiming societies were forced into the scheme without individual flat owner consent.
The Bombay High Court had previously upheld MHADA's cluster redevelopment policy, dismissing residents' petitions.
The Supreme Court directed the Maharashtra government to file its response before the next hearing.
