BJP swept the HC-monitored Abohar mayoral elections after two weeks of uncertainty.

Pooja Wadhwa was elected mayor, Dharmveer Malkat senior deputy mayor, Deepak Chhapola deputy mayor.

The elections were monitored by the High Court, resolving legal and political disputes.
