Land Cave-In Sparks Panic In Mumbra, 9 Families Shifted To Safety

A land cave-in occurred behind Datta Mandir in Retibunder, Mumbra, Thane, causing soil to spill onto a road.

No injuries were reported; civic and emergency teams from Mumbra Ward Committee, Disaster Management Cell, Fire Brigade, and Torrent Power responded.

Nine families from Khandeshi Chawl were shifted to safer locations as a precaution.

The unstable area was barricaded, and debris was cleared to restore traffic.

Authorities are monitoring the site and investigating the cause of the ground subsidence.
