Two dead, two missing as blast rips through Saharanpur firecracker factory

Two workers killed in blast at Rana Fire Works factory in Naya Gaon, Gangoh, Saharanpur.

Deceased identified as Deepraj (23) and Sandeep (25), both from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Blast occurred at around 5 pm on July 24, 2026, causing panic and a fire, damaging the factory.

Two missing: a contractor and an employee, according to Superintendent of Police (rural) Mayank Pathak.

Rescue teams searching debris for trapped workers; about a dozen injured hospitalized.
